We have an open position for an Equipment / Field Service Technician working from our US head office in Crown Point, IN.
This position consists of 75% in-shop work and 25% travel, including overnight stays.
Position Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vacuum lifting equipment
- Clean and maintain rental fleet
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Documentation of repairs and fleet movement
- Shop maintenance and upkeep, including equipment and tools
- Perform other maintenance duties or assignments as necessary
- Provide customer technical support
- Provide on-site training and product demonstration
- Regular travel to provide training and product demonstration
Required Skills:
- Practical hands-on repair / solution skills and mindset
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Must have mechanical experience
- Electrical experience desirable
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and organization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to travel overnight (week days)
- Forklift experience desirable.
- Ability to use Microsoft office, Word
- Must have valid driver's license, a company vehicle will be provided for company travel
