What are the responsibilities and job description for the Launch Advanced Engineer position at Autoliv?

In this role you will be responsible for support Purchasing and Business Units with an evaluation of feasibility for potential new business of molded covers. As the launch leader, work with the PE and QE to determine if cover designs provided for quote are feasible to make. 2. You will provide the information needed for cover quotes and determine if Molding and Paint have available capacity on our presses for newly offered programs. 3. Using an established list of required launch tasks, you will create and use Gantt charts (MS Project) to set target dates and track critical tasks for the launch team while supporting them with quality and timing expectations. 4. Add new programs to the 5-year capacity plan and continually track and report production available capacity to purchasing and Business units. 5. With the support of the launch team, you will accept, organize, box, and ship customer orders requested by customers prior to production.

If You Have/are
- Bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in process or industrial engineering and project management are preferred.
- Ability to perform SEM (Standard Evaluation Method)
- Understand and adhere to MPS (Manufacturing Process Standards)
- Produce TSR’s (Test Summary Reports)
- Understand and develop “Process Requirement Specifications."
