Sales Team Leader

Job Summary
As a Sales Team Lead, you will be on the front lines of helping clients find the right vehicle-but, you will also play a pivotal role in dealership operations. From assisting with inventory management and vehicle acquisition to supporting our Finance and Insurance process, you will help to ensure our sales department runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous sales experience looking to learn more about dealership operations and grow in the automotive business.

Duties

• Work directly with customers through the entire sales process, from greeting to delivery.
• Assist in managing lot inventory, dealer trades and vehicle acquisition.
• Work with the Finance team to ensure smooth F&I operations.
• Help to implement and track sales processes, goals and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Occasionally assist with training new hires or coordinating with vendors.

Requirements

• Prior experience in automotive sales is required with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Familiarity with vehicle inventory systems. (CDK, vAuto, etc...)
• Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and pitch in wherever needed.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to achieving results.
