We're looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Technician to join a busy collision repair facility serving the South Austin area This shop maintains a consistent volume of insurance and customer-pay repairs from local residents, commuters, travelers, and the growing communities throughout Texas.
What You'll Do
- Prepare repaired vehicles for paint following OEM procedures
- Mix and match paint colors for seamless finishes
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat with exceptional quality
- Blend adjacent panels when required
- Inspect completed work to ensure color accuracy and finish quality
- Maintain paint booth cleanliness and equipment
- Work closely with body technicians and production staff to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Help deliver vehicles that exceed customer expectations
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive collision paint experience required
- Strong color matching and blending skills
- Knowledge of modern paint systems and refinishing techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety focused
- I-CAR or OEM certifications are a plus
