Description
As a Business Operations Manager, you’ll be supporting our co-founders, a proven fintech founder and CEO with a prior $1 billion exit. This is a highly operational and strategic role and as we scale the business over the next 12 - 24 months. You’ll own customer retention and implement AI-native solutions to enhance our post-sale customer experience.
This is the perfect opportunity to get an early, front row seat at a rapidly scaling startup. This role could lead to many paths such as leading a new department or moving on to start a new company.
Responsibilities
- Implement AI-native customer solutions such as our generative voice agent and real-time compliance agent
- Automate retention processes to reduce overhead and drive higher retention
- Improve cross-sell and bundling efforts with other lines of business such as home, renters and toys
- Improve business intelligence with retention reports to better understand our lifecycle across customer segments
- Organize key internal stakeholders such as our customer service team, onboarding team and product team as well as external stakeholders such as our insurance carriers and software providers
- Operationalize new processes (e.g. customer success, onboarding, outbound retention)
- Own cross-functional initiatives spanning product, sales, customer success, recruiting, finance and legal; become a master of 0-to-1
Qualifications
- 3-6 years experience in business operations, business intelligence or other rigorous / customer-facing roles
- AI-native work experience with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Zapier, Make, etc.
- Structured about how to prioritize work and time; data-driven approach to decision making
- Knowledge of Hubspot or other CRMs and email marketing platforms
- Comfortable with SQL and familiar with BI platforms
- Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior stakeholders on cross-functional projects
- Bias toward action; thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable wearing many hats and dealing with ambiguity
- Bonus for experience in a seed-stage, high-growth startup
- Bonus for experience in automotive, insurance or fintech
