Days: Monday – Friday
Shift: 0700 – 1030 and 1530 – 1900
Days: Friday – Sunday
Shift: 1100 – 1900
Maine DOT
Days: Monday – Friday
Shift: 1100 – 1900
Wages
Training: $15.10/hour
Starting: $25.00/hour
Seasonal: $27.50/hour
General duties:
· Provides Traffic Incident Management services.
· Monitors the safety of roadways and assists with disabled/abandoned vehicles, lane-closures, debris in the roadway, and general roadway incidents.
· Provides roadside assistance to stranded motorists, including but not limited to changing tires, jump starting a battery, providing coolant, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, and other minor mechanical repairs.
· Works closely with and assists other first responders with incident management.
Requirements:
ü High school diploma or equivalent.
ü 2 years of experience in a similar field and 3 years of driving experience.
ü Valid Driver’s License with a demonstrated safe driving record.
ü Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
ü Must have a general working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and traffic incident management.
ü Successfully pass a comprehensive background and criminal check, as well as a drug test.
ü Must be able to speak fluent English.
Certification Requirements:
ü FEMA ICS 100
ü NHI
ü CPR/First Aid
Preferred Experience:
· Vehicle maintenance and/or traffic incident management experience.
· Military, Police or Firefighter background is a PLUS!
