Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Driver Recruitment, Retention & Safety Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in transportation who can manage driver recruitment, support driver retention initiatives, and assist with safety and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard CDL drivers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers to improve retention.
- Coordinate new driver orientation and onboarding documentation.
- Assist with safety and compliance programs, including driver files and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor driver qualifications, training, and document renewals.
- Support investigations of safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with dispatch and management to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform general administrative duties related to driver management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in CDL driver recruitment is preferred.
- Knowledge of transportation safety and compliance regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Forklift license is considered a strong asset.
