Job Summary
As a Sales Consultant, you will be the driving force behind our customer engagement and satisfaction. Your role is essential in fostering relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the auto sales process. You’ll leverage your expertise in building relationship, sharing vehicle knowledge, and negotiation to close high-end deals while managing a robust sales pipeline. With your multilingual abilities, you’ll connect with a diverse clientele, ensuring that every customer feels valued and understood.
What you’ll do
- Answer phone, and online leads encouraging customer to visit in person.
- Educate yourself on the inventory, and build knowledge of automobile operation.
- Post vehicles on website and online sources.
- Maintain inventory in a ready to sell condition by replacing batteries, and keeping them clean.
- Work with the back shop to make inventory sale ready.
- Picture inventory
- Work credit applications with banks for customer approval.
- Engage in sales activities to identify and cultivate auto sale opportunities.
- Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and upsell products effectively.
- Manage the sales pipeline diligently, ensuring timely follow-ups and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale support.
- Conduct cold calling campaigns to generate leads and expand our client base.
- Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage inventory control, and streamline the sales process.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies that enhance outreach efforts.
Basic qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and customer interaction.
- Proven experience in retail sales or automobile sales with an understanding of retail math.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple customers and tasks efficiently.
- Vehicle mechanical knowledge
- Friendly and talkative attitude for bonding with customers
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in high-end sales or dealership environments is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish capabilities to cater to a wider audience.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and techniques.
