Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Provide accurate auto estimates using shop management software, explaining repair options clearly
- Sell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, or transmission services to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with shop standards
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Requirements
- 5 years experience or background in auto service management is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Proven experience in auto estimating, service writing, and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
