Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs and modifications effectively.
- Work on diesel engines, heavy equipment mechanics tasks, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure modern vehicle safety features function properly.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on various vehicle makes including GM vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive suspension systems, transmissions, brake repair, wheel alignment, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and auto estimating processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid certification or license relevant to automotive mechanics; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.

Pay: $28.35 - $34.14 per hour
