Detailer/Porter - Full Time

Join the team at Auto Park Ford Sturgis as a full-time Lot Attendant/Porter. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring that all vehicles are properly prepared for customers and service appointments. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive environment and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized dealership lot and service areas
• Move vehicles between sales, service, and lot as needed
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, including washing and detailing as required
• Assist with inventory management and vehicle inspections
• Support the service department with customer vehicle pickups and drop-offs
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift vehicles as needed
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required

SUMMARY

Maintain a clean shop, manage and clean car wash , and helps various departments as requested. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

• Clean shop/service drive, trash duties and maintain technicians oil drains

• Work with all departments on various tasks

• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.

• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.

• Assists in cleaning work areas prepping the dealership for next days business

• Manage car wash and maintain a great car wash experience for all customers

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Driver's License
