The position, which works under close supervision, provides support to our Actuarial Division by assisting in the rate review preparation process. It requires the person to
- Use various databases to enter information and produce exhibits
- Communicate by phone or electronically as required
- Have the ability to learn the computer software used in the Actuarial department
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create documentation and reports including, but not limited to, review packets, manual pages, group updates, and filings
- Have regular and predictable attendance to meet defined work deadlines
- Assist with other duties within the department or elsewhere on request
- High school education or its equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree is preferred.
- High levels of organization, time management, and accuracy are required.
- The ability to prioritize his/her own workload is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Some insurance industry knowledge is preferred.
