Job Overview:
Our ideal candidate is a personable, high-energy individual looking to use their skills to act as the liaison between Technicians and customers. Someone who is a determined self-starter who maintains a consistent level of outstanding customer satisfaction and is looking to play an active role in the service lane.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greets and consults customers with hospitality and respect, serving as the primary point of contact for service/repair matters
- Determine vehicle needs based on customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, and inspections
- Produce repair orders for customers while frequently communication with Technicians
- Present the best solution to properly repair our customer’s vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Meets and exceeds targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index
- Sets and manages expectations for service delivery for customers and Technicians
- Overseeing and managing shop workflow in an effective and efficient manner
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times
- Communicate on the phone in a clear professional manner
- Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Verify final invoice reconciles with performed services
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Service Advisor/writer or Automotive Customer Service role with a proven track record of exceptional customer satisfaction
- Hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Must agree to background check and drug testing
- Must be proficient in Windows-based computer software
- Professional appearance and excellent phone etiquette
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday–Friday
- Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
