Automotive Service Advisor/Writer

AutoLenders is the largest pre-owned auto dealership in New Jersey with 7 locations, in addition to 2 locations in Pennsylvania. While traditional dealerships rely on auctions and trade-ins for their inventory purchases, AutoLenders controls inventory sourcing in-house through our CAL and ALGO businesses to ensure quality and volume.

Job: Automotive Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

The Automotive Service Advisor has the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records.

• Proactively greet customers, perform vehicle check-in evaluations and assist customers with their service issues and maintenance needs from start to finish.

• Effectively schedule customer service appointments, confirm appointments and make proactive service campaign calls.

• Provide customers with an optimal experience by providing a high level of customer service.

• Thoroughly address the customers’ issues and/or needs.

• Guide customers to the solution that best solves their service issues or maintenance needs.

Requirements:

The Automotive Service Advisor should have the following skills, education and experience:

• Sales focused, with the ability to up and cross sell needed maintenance and preventative maintenance items.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

• Technical comprehension and understanding of a vehicle is desired.

• Experience working in a service department as a quick lane advisor or service advisor is desired.

• Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

CAL combines strategic and competitive lease programs with great customer service, making us the preferred leasing company for customers and dealers across the Tri-State area. CAL was formed in order to serve as a financing provider to a network of dealerships and customers, as well as capture a pipeline of hand-selected, off lease vehicles that provide the highest-quality pre-owned car inventory for AutoLenders locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
