We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced in processing vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently in compliance with New Mexico state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process all vehicle titles, registrations, and lien recordings, and Vin Inspections
- Submit title paperwork to the state in a timely manner
- Verify accuracy of all documents before submission
- Handle out-of-state title work when needed
- Maintain title schedules and follow up on missing documents
- Work closely with the sales and finance departments
- Maintain organized and accurate title records
- Assist with accounting tasks related to vehicle deals
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Requirements
- Previous automotive title clerk experience preferred
- Knowledge of New Mexico MVD title procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer systems and dealership software
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
