JOB TITLE: Customer Service / Sales Associate

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in contact and phone contact customers
- Generates and develops new business to meet specified production goals.
- Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
- Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, policies, and procedures to new and existing clients.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of auto body parts and automotive industry product information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Accurately process customer orders, returns, and exchanges using the company’s POS and sales systems.
- Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming sales floor environment.
- Support and collaborate with fellow sales associates and warehouse staff to ensure smooth customer transactions.
CUSTOMER SERVICE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Bilingual, in English, and Spanish.
- Customer service background.
- Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
- Must be a self-starter and proactive.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
CUSTOMER SERVICE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Handle customer returns and assist at the cashier station, especially during peak business hours or when staff coverage is low.
- Take the initiative to assist where needed, including helping with product location, basic troubleshooting, or customer complaints.
- Encourage satisfied customers to leave Google reviews as part of providing a positive customer experience.
- Participate in or assist with training new team members when requested by management.
- Carry out any other tasks or special assignments directed by store management.
- Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a positive team spirit at all times.
- Provide leadership by stepping into operational gaps when necessary to ensure seamless store operations.
CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
- Participate in periodic product knowledge or customer service training as assigned.
- Support the onboarding and training of new employees when delegated by management.
- Maintain a continuous learning mindset to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
CUSTOMER SERVICE PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

CUSTOMER SERVICEJOB TYPE:

CUSTOMER SERVICE SCHEDULE:
- Store Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5:30 PM, Saturday 8 AM-4 PM
- Require working some Saturdays.
