ACS is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Preparation Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing electronic control modules (ECMs) for production. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and pays close attention to detail.
No prior ECM experience is required—we provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ECMs for production and refinishing
- Clean, sand, and mask components for painting
- Paint and refinish ECM housings according to company standards
- Inspect components throughout the preparation process to ensure quality
- Organize and label customer units throughout production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Use basic hand tools and shop equipment
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing hands-on work
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, body shop, painting, or production experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
