Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor distribution resource plans to align with company goals and customer expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, warehouse operations, and transportation to coordinate scheduling and inventory levels
- Analyze data trends to forecast demand fluctuations and adjust plans proactively
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the distribution process and recommend improvements
- Maintain accurate records of planning activities, adjustments, and key performance metrics
- Support the deployment of new planning tools or systems to enhance forecasting accuracy
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment on distribution priorities
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods or retail environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex information and collaborate across teams
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and distribution network optimization strategies is highly desirable
