Auto Collision Experts is seeking an experienced, reliable, and professional automotive body technician. The ideal candidate will have experience with autobody work including body/frame repair. We are a family-owned easy going easy to work with company. We are in need of experienced workers who are energetic hard working individuals that are ready to succeed! We always have steady work flow. If you are a hard-working, money-hungry individual, we are open to commission based pay. Pay based on experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reliable way to and from work
- Experience in the
- Great work ethic
- Ability to use frame machine.
- Certification in body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
- I-CAR welding certified.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Possible Duties:
- Light to heavy body work
- Pull frame
- Replace / repair body panels
- Prepping / Blocking
- Examine damaged vehicles and plan an efficient repair process.
- Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
- Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
- Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
- Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
