At Auto Authority, Inc. in Crystal Lake, we do things differently. We are a clean, modern, and highly respected independent shop that takes pride in high-quality workmanship. We are looking for a motivated, ambitious Entry-Level Lube & Tire Technician who is passionate about cars and wants to learn the trade the right way from seasoned pros.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You don’t need years of professional shop experience—just a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. We will train you to perform:
- Basic Maintenance: Oil and filter services, engine air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades.
- Tire & Wheel Services: Tire replacements, mounting, high-speed balancing, flat repairs, and tire rotations using the best equipment in the industry.
- Underhood & Battery: Battery testing and replacements.
- Advanced Entry-Level Skills: In-house wheel alignments and conducting thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using a tablet to help show customers what their cars need.
What We Look For (The Right Fit):
We can teach you how to change a tire or perform an alignment, but we can't teach character. To join our team, you must be:
