Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components to restore vehicle performance.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Repair or replace critical systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs, welding tasks, and auto body work when necessary.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types.
- Dealership experience preferred but not required; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and brake repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change procedures.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of auto estimating processes and auto body repair is advantageous.

Pay: $29.64 - $35.70 per hour
