Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Richmond, VA
Full-Time | In-Clinic | $18–$26 per hour (based on certification & experience)
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a full-time BT or RBT to support children in our Richmond clinic. This is an in-clinic role with consistent daytime hours and the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a structured, team-based environment.

Position Details
- Location: Richmond, VA
- Setting: In-clinic
- Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Must be available between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
(Specific shift times are assigned based on client needs)
- Compensation:
- BT (non-certified): $18–$21/hr
- RBT (certified): $21–$26/hr
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children in a structured clinic environment
- Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
- Follow treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA
- Record session data and maintain treatment integrity
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision
- Maintain a positive, engaged presence with children and families
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- RBT certification preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active during sessions
- Strong communication and reliability
- Must be able to work during the full availability window (8 AM–6:30 PM)
- Comfortable working in a structured clinic environment
