Autism Center of Excellence is seeking an experienced BCBA to serve as an Assistant Clinical Director in our Columbia, MD clinic. This leadership-track role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys mentorship, clinical oversight, and team collaboration—while still maintaining a meaningful clinical caseload.
You’ll help guide clinical quality, support staff development, and ensure high-quality services for the children and families we serve.
⭐ Position Summary
- Location: Columbia, Maryland
- Setting: 100% in-clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
- Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 per year

- Reports To: Clinical Director & Regional Leadership
⭐ What You’ll DoClinical Leadership & Oversight
- Support clinic-wide treatment integrity and quality standards
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs
- Participate in onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives
- Assist with clinical reviews, case meetings, and team collaboration
- Serve as an escalation point for clinical decision-making
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Review client progress and adjust programming based on data
- Provide caregiver training and family support
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with BACB, Medicaid, and organizational standards
Operational Collaboration
- Partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and clinic stability
- Contribute to workflow planning and clinic efficiency
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive clinic culture
⭐ Qualifications
Required
- Active BCBA certification
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Eligible for or holding Maryland LBA
- Strong communication, professionalism, and leadership presence
Preferred
- 3 years BCBA experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience in clinic-based ABA therapy
