What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Preschool, ABA Home position at Autism Therapy Services?
Autism Therapy Services located in Southern Utah and services surrounding areas is seeking entry-level Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to join our supportive and collaborative team in providing early intervention ranging in ages 2-13 years old using ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis). ABA therapy is an evidence based practice implementing language, play, social skills, daily living skills, and implementing evidence based procedures to decrease problem behaviors. Behavior Technicians will receive on going training and supervision from a clinical supervisor.
Training and Certification
Training requires completing a 40 hour online module certification program. These modules will be provided by ATS and competed online. Once online modules are completed you will begin one-on-one hands-on training with clients with an experienced RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) and supervision by BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysis).
Responsibilities
- Direct implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients which are developed by our BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Communicating information relevant to treatment and services to clinical supervisor
- Ensure appropriate level of quality care
- Document services through data collection and session notes
- Maintain confidentiality and client dignity
Job Requirements
- High school Diploma, 18 years of age
- Background check
- Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Physical Requirements (lifting, carrying, kneeling, sitting, bending, running, squatting, etc. for the safety of both staff and clients)
Schedule
- Flexible hours offered Monday thru Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Services are provided in clinic, schools, in-home, and community settings.
