- Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, focusing on skill acquisition and reducing challenging behaviors.
- Conduct patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to establish baseline functioning and treatment goals.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, utilizing data collection methods to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment strategies across settings.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to uphold high standards of patient care and fidelity to treatment protocols.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health practices, and relevant medical terminology.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and applied behavior analysis principles.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, healthcare professionals, and team members.
