Qualifications Needed:

The applicant must be a CA licensed psychologist. Prior experience/training at a major university or hospital autism center providing diagnostic assessment using autism-specific measures is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be interested in a temporary one to three day per week position to be a Clinical Supervisor--teaching doctoral-level trainees as they evaluate 3-5 cases per day. The candidate will not be directly responsible for write-up of patient evaluation, but will directly supervise all evaluations., written up by the supervised trainees. This position is open one or two or three days per week where incumbent Clinical Supervisors will be on maternity leave in Jan., Feb., March & April 2026, beginning January 2026.
Position Description:
Clinical Supervisor will supervise psychology PhD/PsyD candidates practicum hours in collaboration with Executive Director of the center, a well-published autism researcher. The Clinical Supervisor leads trainees in autism diagnosis and screening for related neurodevelopmental disorders--one, two or three full days per week in person (4-5 patients per 8 hour day, 4-6 trainees per day, one case per trainee) plus 4-6 hours weekly (remote) hours to review the trainees' patient reports. This could be a FTE job temp job for 3-5 months for a candidate looking for/ waiting for a permanent position opening. Pay based on number of cases per day (~$500 per case).
