Autism Care Partners (ACP) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will advance and execute the financial vision of a multi-state, insurance funded, center-based organization providing autism services. We are seeking an enterprise thinker who is data-driven and outcomes-oriented, with strong financial and operational acumen and who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment requiring both structure and adaptability.

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the CEO. Operating across 25 centers in 5 states, the CFO will lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, aligning capital allocation, operational performance, and long-term growth objectives in a dynamic and evolving ABA landscape. This role requires a leader who can translate financial insights into actionable business strategies, drive accountability across service lines, and support value creation.

The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk management, while building scalable infrastructure to support continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Executive Leadership

• Partner with the CEO, COO, Chief Clinical Officer and Board to define and execute a multi-year financial strategy focused on sustainable growth, margin expansion, and enterprise value creation
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to ACP’s leadership team, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Lead long-range financial planning, capital strategy, and scenario modeling in a multi-state healthcare environment
• Support de novo expansion

Financial Performance & Operations

• Own enterprise financial performance, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet integrity
• Oversee ACP’s analytics department, ensuring timely and accessible data/data visualization designed to provide timely insight into financial and operating performance
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes with a focus on accountability and operational alignment
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, payroll, treasury, tax, auditing, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely, accurate, and decision-useful reporting for executives, and the Board
  
  

Payor Strategy

• Advance a comprehensive payor strategy across all operating states, optimizing reimbursement structures to support sustainable growth and margin expansion
• Identify and execute opportunities for rate increases, renegotiations, and contract restructuring (e.g., value-based contracting) based on market dynamics, outcomes data, and access considerations
• Partner with Clinical and Operations leadership to align reimbursement strategy with quality outcomes, acuity, and service delivery models
  
  

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Maintain robust internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Lead external audits and manage relationships with auditors, lenders, and investors
• Oversee risk management strategies, including financial, operational, and regulatory risks across multiple states
  
  

Team Leadership & Infrastructure

• Build and lead a high-performing, scalable (documented P&Ps/workflows) Finance organization across Accounting, FP&A, Growth and Analytics
• Develop talent, strengthen leadership bench, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and partnership
• Implement systems, tools, and processes that support growth, efficiency, and data transparency
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with prior CFO or senior finance leadership preferred
• Experience in multi-site healthcare, ABA/behavioral health strongly preferred
• Proven success in investor-owned environments
• Demonstrated ability to scale financial operations in a high-growth, multi-state organization
• Deep expertise in FP&A, revenue cycle management, and operational finance
• Payor experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare reimbursement models, and regulatory environments
  
  

Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary $175K - $200K, performance-based incentive compensation, and participation in long-term incentive programs. Total compensation is commensurate with experience, scope, and organizational impact
