Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities, specifically autism.
- Implement behavior analytic interventions and strategies to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Skills:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis methods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt interventions based on individual needs.
