RBT Position Requirements:
High school diploma, with related expertise in Education, Psychology, Social Work, etc., considered a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Further certification as a Registered Behavior Technician with the BACB.

Conduct interventions in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to RBT ethical guidelines and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individualized Instruction:
- Instruct clients individually or in groups, adapting teaching methods using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques developed by BCBA, BCaBA, and consultants.
Session Preparation:
- Follow plans and prepare materials for sessions in both home and community settings.
Objective Communication:
- Clearly communicate objectives for all programs and projects to families and clients.
Program Execution:
- Run programs routinely, cycling through them as outlined in the child's treatment plan.
Flexible Treatment Locations:
- Meet families in various settings, including within a clinic, based on the needs of the treatment.
Behavioral Rules and Procedures:
- Establish and enforce behavior rules and procedures outlined in the prescribed treatment plan.
Parental Collaboration:
- Meet with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and prioritize student needs.
Advancement Preparation:
- Prepare students for advancement by encouraging exploration and persistence with challenging tasks.
Performance Evaluation:
- Observe, evaluate, and document student performance, behavior, and social development.
Needs Assessment:
- Assess client needs and modify teaching methods or consequences to meet those needs.
Quality Assurance and Participation:
- Conduct quality assurance audits, participate in committees, and attend meetings to receive and report information.
Leadership and Facilitation:
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and facilitate diverse groups, understanding group dynamics.
Professional Development:
- Participate in professional training and coursework as required by governing boards, state law, and company policy.
HIPAA Compliance:
- Conduct oneself as a professional, adhering to HIPAA/Confidential regulations at all times.
