Role Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a full-time on-site role located in Shelby, NC. The RBT will work directly with clients to implement evidence-based behavior analysis interventions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Daily responsibilities include conducting behavior assessments, implementing behavior modification plans, monitoring client progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role may also involve collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective treatment delivery and client success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Expertise in Behavior Management and Behavior Modification
- Sound understanding of Psychology, particularly as it relates to behavior
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and their families
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in a structured environment with attention to detail and adherence to individualized plans
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Experience with individuals with developmental delays or autism spectrum disorder is a plus
