As the Systems Administrator, your main job is to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and networks of all Authority Brands systems both on-premises and in the cloud.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Owner of troubleshooting issues and outages of production systems
- Install and configure software and hardware for servers (physical and virtual)
- Install and configure software for end-user systems and hosted desktops
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor network performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Provide reports on production systems trends, outages, metrics
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests (Tier 2)
- Safeguard data and systems from potential threats and malicious intent
- Support internal and external users
- Responsible for evaluating systems configurations and ensuring currency of all patch levels, drivers, and hardware to meet business and security needs
- Responsible to research and evaluate new tools and solutions as requested by management.
- Assist the buildout of an internal repository with technical documentation
- Have an understanding of IaC
- Ability to automate routine tasks
- Participate in a sysadmin on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education supported by work experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft technology, specifically; Win 10, Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, Domain controllers, Trusts, IPPBX, DHCP, DNS, IIS, Hyper-V, Azure AD, Intune, Office365
- Proven experience supporting SaaS, IaaS in both Azure and AWS
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Knowledge of best practices in security
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay abreast of industry trends
- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Solution orientation to problem resolution and process improvement
