- Ride on and walking equipment
- Perform lawn aerations, overseeding and phosphorus applications using ride on and walking equipment.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn treatments using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic service questions
- Explain Lawn Squad programs and recommend additional services when appropriate
- Complete service calls following company procedures
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized vehicles and equipment
- Document treatments and stay in communication with customers to help prevent lawn issues
- Coordinate with branch staff as needed to support customer needs
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that qualifies for company vehicle use.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and able to meet daily customer and route expectations
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly during the day to load fertilizer into the equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures as well as wet and humid environments.
- Use proper safety equipment and measures when working with chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation
- Ability to climb, walk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles
