Director of Operations – DRYmedic Corporate Locations
Location: Cincinnati, Indianapolis, or North Denver (Cincinnati and Indianapolis preferred)
Position Overview
DRYmedic Restoration Services, part of the Authority Brands family, is a fast-growing national leader in disaster restoration. We help families and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage with expertise, speed, and compassion. In This Role you Will be a Game-Changer
You won’t just manage operations—you’ll execute the playbook, influence industry veterans, and drive ground-level decisions that fuel our corporate-owned locations’ success. You’ll work directly with the COO, GMs, and regional operations managers to craft and execute strategies that grow top-line revenue and elevate operational excellence.
This is a high-visibility role with real teeth. You’ll be the go-to leader for corporate unit performance, operational systems, and accountability. You’ll also collaborate closely with the franchise network—sharing feedback, learning from top operators, and helping improve the system as a whole.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and inspire regional operations managers and support staff across corporate-owned locations
- Coach and influence GMs in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Denver to drive operational excellence.
- Create and enforce written standards for systems and processes across corporate units.
- Stay close to the field—constant calls, site visits, and hands-on support to keep teams aligned and motivated.
- Guide staffing strategy for technicians, managers, office, and sales teams.
- Resolve complex customer issues, acting as a liaison between clients and corporate teams.
- Design and deploy growth programs that drive profitability and market share.
- Report monthly performance by region, flagging risks and opportunities.
- Build operational roadmaps to help locations scale to multi-million dollar locations
- Present business cases to executive teams and boards to prove ROI and secure buy-in.
- Work with the franchisor to execute, test and update the DRYmedic playbook, and build flagship locations that are national showcases
- Collaborate with other franchisees to share insights, improve systems, and strengthen the brand.
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 – 5 years as a Restoration GM, Owner, or equivalent, with deep experience and proven results in mitigation, contents, and reconstruction.
- Proven ability to lead leaders and influence seasoned operators to reach higher.
- A strategic mind that can zoom out to see the big picture—and zoom in to drive tactical decisions.
- Experience building ROI-driven business cases for executive audiences.
- Ambition, grit, and hunger to make a mark in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Restoration certifications and CRM experience (DASH, ServiceTitan) are a plus—but not required.
