What You’ll Do
Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries by comparing purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists for accuracy.
Sign for deliveries, unload shipments from trucks, and ensure items are handled safely.
Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory items and communicate issues promptly.
Organize, label, and store received items in designated warehouse or storage areas.
Update inventory systems with received goods and maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries.
Communicate with vendors regarding delivery delays, discrepancies, or product issues.
Follow warehouse safety regulations and operate equipment as needed.
Use basic math, data entry, and inventory software skills to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
1-2 years' experience in purchasing/receiving or procurement role
Bachelor's or Associate degree needed
Proficiency with office software and spreadsheets
Excellent organizational and records management ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sharp attention to detail and data accuracy
