Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to support efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support daily operations as well as new product launches.This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving real-world manufacturing challenges, improving processes, and partnering closely with production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for assembly, fabrication, and system integrationPartner with design engineers to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability (DFM/DFA)Create, maintain, and improve work instructions, assembly documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN, 5S, and Kaizen activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to quality, efficiency, tooling, and workflowAnalyze production data and perform root cause analysis to reduce waste, rework, and downtimeRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reduce costs, and increase throughputDesign and improve tools, fixtures, and jigs to support efficient and repeatable productionSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts to ensure smooth and scalable production launchesProvide technical support and hands-on training to assembly and production teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role (equipment or machinery manufacturing preferred)Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and assembly techniquesProficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD softwareWorking knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing documentationFamiliarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsHands-on, team-first mindset with the ability to work directly on the production floorPreferred QualificationsExperience with metal fabrication and equipment assemblyExposure to PLCs, pneumatics, and basic electrical systemsExperience supporting a product line through its full lifecycle in a manufacturing environment
