The company has scaled rapidly to ~$200M ARR with a sub-100 person team and is working directly with Fortune 500 organizations to transform how software gets built.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll work directly with engineering teams to implement AI-powered systems into their workflows. You’ll own the full lifecycle from initial demo through production deployment, helping customers realize tangible value quickly.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role — ideal for engineers who enjoy working closely with users and solving real-world problems.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with customer engineering teams to understand workflows and identify high-impact use cases
• Run technical demos, pilots, and proof-of-concepts
• Deploy and integrate AI systems into real production environments
• Work hands-on in customer codebases to implement solutions and unblock adoption
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear value for both engineers and executives
• Act as the voice of the customer and influence product direction

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical foundation (Computer Science background or equivalent)
• Experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python or TypeScript preferred)
• Experience building or debugging real systems (APIs, distributed systems, or applied AI)
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with customers (pre-sales or post-sales engineering)
• Background at high-growth startups or in founder / founding engineer roles
• Experience with AI/LLM systems, APIs, or developer tools
• History of building side projects or open-source contributions
