What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher Assistant position at Austintown Local Schools?
Non-Bargaining Position
Compensation: $20 per hour
Hours: 5.75 hours per day not to exceed 28.75 hours per week
Reports to: Building Principal / Special Education Director
Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties will be assigned as needed by the Special Education Director
REQUIRED BEFORE A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT CAN BEGIN WORK:
- Valid Ohio Teaching or Substitute Teaching License
- Current favorable State and Federal background checks
- Negative Drug Screen
Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must complete all required compliance training as assigned.
