What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitch High School Auditorium Manager - MVRCOG position position at Austintown Local Schools?
Non-bargaining position through the Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments (MVRCOG).
Compensation and employment requirements will be managed by the MVRCOG.
Terms of employment:
- Annual Salary $25,000 to $30,000
- Full-time 12-month position; eligible for single medical benefits
- Flex hours scheduled to accommodate events; schedule will include evenings and weekends as needed
- 10 PTO days annually without rollover
Reports to: Building Principals, District Technology Supervisor, and Falcon Media General Manager
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Skilled in the use of lighting and audio equipment and associated technology
- Skilled in the use of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
- Ability to learn software programs necessary for the position (FMX)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and prioritize work
- Ability to establish positive cooperative working relationships with students, staff, administration, and community
- Ability to carry out instructions, both written and oral
- Ability to problem-solve job-related issues quickly and efficiently
- Ability to teach, train, and lead a diverse group of individuals, including students
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student information
- Ability to work without direct supervision at events
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facility/event management, including general maintenance and repair of venue equipment
- Manage scheduling/coordination of non-athletic facility rentals using FMX
- AV operation and event production in Fitch Auditorium and other district venues
- Establish production levels for venues.
- Assist with special projects under the direction of the District Technology Coordinator
Must have the following on file before starting:
- Favorable State (BCI) and Federal (FBI) background checks
- Enrolled in the Rapback System through the Ohio Department of Education
- Negative Drug Screen
Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Training Certificate of Completion
