Elementary Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join our Austin Tracy family! This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire young learners, foster a love of learning, and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities

• Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across core subject areas including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies

• Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate learning

• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth

• Parent Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with families regarding student progress, behavior, and academic needs

• Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success and implement school initiatives

• Professional Development: Participate in professional learning opportunities and stay current with best practices in elementary education

• Inclusive Learning: Support the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners, with appropriate accommodations and modifications

• Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in school events, field trips, and other activities that enrich the student experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid state teaching certification or licensure in elementary education (or equivalent)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds

• Current background check clearance (or willingness to complete)
