Role Description This full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role is based in Austin, TX. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients with sports-related and musculoskeletal injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to support safe return to activity. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, guiding therapeutic exercises, providing patient education on injury prevention and home care, and documenting progress in accordance with clinic protocols. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, athletic trainers, and other providers to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation and optimize outcomes. The Physical Therapist will also contribute to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and supportive environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience treating sports-related and orthopedic conditions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education, plan-of-care instruction, and ongoing support for recovery.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports injury management.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in Texas and graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine settings is preferred.
