Position: Circulation Attendant
Hours: between 4 and 15 hours a week, including evening and weekend hours
Pay: $15.00 hour
Job description: Circulation attendants perform all circulation activities (for example, charging and discharging of materials, and registering patrons). They also answer patron inquiries and assist patrons in finding and retrieving library materials. Additional responsibilities include shelving library materials, understanding and ensuring compliance with library policies, and assisting with projects and other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge: Qualified candidates should be proficient in English and in basic customer services and communication best practices. Candidates should also be familiar with the research process. A knowledge of the Bible, Christian theology, and biblical languages would also be helpful.
