Responsibilities

- Conduct presentations and informational sessions to promote educational programs and opportunities.
- Assist students with the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with academic departments to provide accurate information regarding program details, admissions requirements, and deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional policies and procedures related to admissions.
- Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and community outreach initiatives to attract potential students.
- Provide academic advising to help students understand their options and navigate their educational paths.
Skills
- Strong public speaking abilities to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Ellucian software or similar education administration systems is preferred.
- Experience in education administration or recruiting within an academic setting.
- Proven experience working directly with students in an educational environment.
- Background in university experience or teaching is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective students and their families.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- 1 year of experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, customer service, or advising (education or training industry preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse populations and explain complex information clearly.
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM/database systems.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for outreach events.
