Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our team on a 4-month assignment, with the option to extend. You will be responsible for providing excellent care to patients of all ages, handling both acute illnesses and chronic conditions in a collaborative, supportive environment. Start Date : ASAP Assignment Length : 4-month assignment with option to extend Locations : 2 in Metro Austin Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care for acute and chronic illnesses (bread and butter family practice). Use EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR). Collaborate with support staff, including MAs, RNs, and a supervising physician who is on call at all times and available on-site if needed. Allocate time for administrative work to complete charts as necessary (no overtime or on-call required). Schedule : Full-time Choose between 3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts per week (schedule is flexible, based on your availability). Compensation & Benefits : Premium Locum Tenens Rates Mileage Reimbursement : If working across multiple locations, mileage reimbursement is provided. Credentialing Timeframe : 5-7 weeks Requirements : Local candidates ONLY (must be located in the Austin, TX area for both locations). Drug screens required.
