Responsibilities
- Coordinates with San Diego Contract
- Successful candidate will build TL/LTL freight shipments for third party Logistics (3PL Distribution)
- Coordination of all activities with Supply Lead, Wave Planner, and warehouse Manager
- Verify orders are accurately filled using RF Gun and compare items and quantities of products gathered for shipment and documents and the automated warehouse management system
- Ensure shipments are properly packed and properly identified with shipping information
- Prepare, process, and keep records of shipments , e.g. manifest bill of lading
- Manage operating supplies and equipment
- Prepare periodic activity reports to share information with management
- Verifiable high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prefer 2 to 3yrs experience in warehouse logistics
- Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks, and also become forklift certified within the company and achieve certification within 30 days.
- Strong organizational and math skills
- Proficiency in the use of computers including good working skills with MS word, MS Excel, email and the internet
- A working knowledge of general warehouse management software will be a plus- current software used is Manhattan Scale

- Ability to stand for 7-8 hours per day
- Ability to lift/move up to 10-35 lbs. at times
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, adjust position for 50% of time
