Position OverviewAustin Farms Sodding is seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
- Perform system inspections and seasonal maintenance
- Diagnose irrigation issues and complete necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical components, valves, and sprinkler systems
- Ensure system efficiency and proper water management
- Work collaboratively with crew members and project leads
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Assist with crew leadership and jobsite organization when needed
- Experience with irrigation installation and repair preferred
- Landscape or outdoor construction experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
