What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmology Patient Coordinator position at Austin Eye?
Austin Eye is an ophthalmology/eye surgeon practice providing state-of-the-art eye care and eye surgery for the Austin community.
We are hiring front-office staff to help with the administrative work and patient care needs that will help us provide the best care for our patients. The patient coordinator will often be the first and the last impression that each patient has within our office. Our goal is to provide the best patient experience for each individual who contacts our office. The patient coordinator will prepare patients' medical records, work with patients' medical insurance plans, and complete financial transactions and patients' scheduling needs. We will train and assist you to enable you to perform your job to the highest standard. The opportunity for professional growth within all facets of our ophthalmology practice exists for the right individual.
This position is best suited to someone who enjoys staying busy throughout the day, can multi-task, is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people of all ages, and who enjoys working with people in-general.
We need you to be personable, reliable, honest and detail-oriented. Associates degree or college bachelor's degree preferred.
Full-time, Monday-Thursday 8a-6p, Fridays 8 am - Noon. No weekends. Two office locations: Central and Northwest Austin.
