Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
Patient Registration & Records Management:
- Collect patient information accurately and enter it into our EMR.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with completing necessary forms.
- Update patient records with any changes in personal or insurance information.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule patient appointments according to availability and physician preferences.
- Coordinate appointments and send referrals to other specialists as needed.
- Send appointment reminders to patients via phone, email, or text.
Billing & Payment:
- Collect and process copayments, deductibles, and co-insurances for services rendered.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries.
Administrative Support
- Assist medical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and email.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical procedures, and insurance procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
