Position Summary
The Vice President of Construction Operations provides enterprise‑wide leadership for all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. As a member of the executive team, this role sets operational strategy, drives performance, and strengthens relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders across the company.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute company‑wide construction operations strategy, aligning with corporate goals.

Operational Excellence: Oversee project delivery nationwide, ensuring compliance with contracts, policies, and regulations.

Financial Stewardship: Drive profitability through accurate forecasting, cost control, and productivity management.

Safety & Quality: Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement in quality standards.

Team Development: Build, mentor, and retain high‑performing teams across all regions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with customers, owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Negotiations: Lead executive‑level contract and change order negotiations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year.

Proven track record of managing large, complex construction portfolios.

Strong business acumen, risk management expertise, and negotiation skills.
