Austin Engineering USA is looking for a MAINTENANCE PERSON to install, maintain, and repair machinery; including equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in and around the fabrication shop, yard, and the office by performing the following duties.
- Detect and diagnose malfunction of equipment such as: power sources, cranes, wire feeders, grinders, machines, equipment and physical plant to help determine source of equipment malfunctions.
- Reads prints, sketches, specifications and repair, maintenance and technical manuals to determine procedures for repair, or part numbers for ordering.
- Transports equipment by use of crane or forklift to Maintenance Department for repair.
- Completes daily inspections of cranes and air compressors
- Fabricates, modifies and repairs equipment, apparatus and fixtures to conform to current needs, or to facilitate production.
- Replaces and/or repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and facilities.
- Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and/or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts or reproduces parts from various kinds of metal stock.
