Role Description This full-time, on-site Compounding Technician role is based at Austin Compounding Pharmacy in Austin, TX. The Compounding Technician prepares customized medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, following established formulas, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include measuring, mixing, and labeling pharmaceutical ingredients, maintaining clean and organized laboratory and work areas, and ensuring accurate documentation of prescriptions and batch records. The role also involves collaborating with pharmacists and other team members, assisting with inventory management, and communicating clearly with staff to support efficient, safe, and compliant pharmacy operations.

- Candidates should possess strong compounding skills, including accurate measuring, mixing, and preparation of customized medications.
- Candidates should possess practical pharmacy technician experience and familiarity with pharmacy workflows and regulations.
- Candidates should possess solid laboratory skills, including aseptic technique, equipment handling, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for working with pharmacists, team members, and, when appropriate, patients.
